Questions you might have.

The best frame depends on your setup. For most Indian WFH buyers with a single monitor or laptop, a certified single motor electric frame in the ₹15,000–₹25,000 range is the right call. Look for FCC/CE certification and a complete-unit warranty of at least 3 years.

Manual frames are more affordable and have no electrical components to fail — they suit buyers who change height once or twice a day. Electric frames with memory presets are better if you switch position frequently. Both work well ergonomically; the choice is about how often you adjust.

Single motor frames typically hold 60–80 kg. Dual motor frames hold 80–120 kg. Always calculate your actual load — tabletop, monitors, laptop, accessories — and buy a frame rated at least 20% above that total.

Most frames are sold separately from the tabletop. You can use an existing tabletop, buy one from a furniture store, or have one made locally. Frame-only purchases are usually ₹10,000–₹20,000 cheaper than full desk equivalents.

Look for FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and CE (Conformité Européenne) certifications. These confirm the frame's motors and electronics have been tested against international safety and interference standards.

A well-built, certified desk frame from a reliable brand should last 5–10 years with normal use. The warranty period (look for 3 years minimum on the complete unit) is a reasonable indicator of the brand's confidence in their product's longevity.
